Young Audiences New York (YANY)
The YANY after school program provides arts-focused programming for our children. Its mission is to use art, in all of its forms, as a catalyst for exploring creativity and advancing equity among youth, families, and communities in New York City. YMCA
The YMCA after school program is hosted at P.S. 165 and is designed to allow children to learn and grow through academic and recreational based activities. Participants are given specific times to read, complete all homework and receive extra academic support from YMCA trained counselors. Participants also receive a daily snack as well as an opportunity to participate in various athletic and non athletic activities.
ACT Afterschool
An Independent Afterschool Program Serving P.S. 165 Families
The ACT after-school program, located at St. John the Divine's campus, offers a play-based experience for children starting in kindergarten. The program provides social-emotional learning, arts, and physical activities, and fosters character and community through service projects and youth-led activities. ACT offers pickup services from P.S. 165 for enrolled students. This fee-based program is operated independently of P.S. 165. For more information, please visit their website.
